Jets - Saints Tickets Oct 4th - Superdome Battle of Undefeated NFL Teams

Jets vs Saints tickets couldn't have worked out any better. Superdome Saints fans will now get to witness their undefeated Saints take on an undefeated Jets team. Both teams are hot, both have been playing well on both sides of the ball, and both need the win to keep a division lead. In fact, this Saints-jets matchup may be the NFL game of the week.

The New Orleans Saints are coming off a big win over the Buffalo Bills, a win which saw the defense finally rise to the occasion and stop a good offense. T.O. was held to 0 catches for the first time since his rookie season. The Saints defense also won the turnover battle, kept the Bills scoreless in the second half, and looked like a unit finally jelling. Offensively, Pierre Thomas hada career game on the ground and the Saints won without a TD pass from Drew Brees.

The New York Jets have just as much to be proud of. Mark Sanchez is proving to be the next rookie QB to make a big impact. Late in the game againts the Titans, Sanchez threw a pair of touchdown passes, and ran for another. the Jets are fielding the #1 ranked defense in the league, a good match against the Saints top ranked offense.

So if you're thinking Saints tickets there's still time to get Jets vs Saints tickets for the Oct 4th game in the Superdome. The Saints and Jets are both riding a huge wave of confidence. Someone is going to walk out with a loss. For saints fans, the 2009 NFL season has begun with a bange and you can bet the Superdome will be packed to the rafters.

New Orleans Saints Tickets at Buffalo Bills - Week 3 Test

This Saints and Bills game is going to be a doozy I believe. The New Orleans Saints are piling up points and yardage. Drew Brees has nine touchdowns in two games, the Saints have some running power now, the passing game is as strong as ever, and New Orleans is actually creating some turnovers on defense and special teams. The Buffalo bills meanwhile, lost a heartbreaker to New England but bounced back in fine style to whallop the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Key questions with the Saints and Bills? Can Drew Brees keep up the pace againts a solid but unspectacular Bills defense? Probably so. Slowing doiwn Brees is not going to be easy. There's too many weapons on this Saints offense and despite the loss of Jamal Brown, Brees has enjoyed good protection.

For the Saints, beating the Buffalo Bills boild down to an average performance from the offense, a little progress from the defense, and hopefully, better special teams play. If there's any chink in the armor for the Buffalo Bills to attack, it's New Orleans special teams, which has given up the big play consistently in the first two games.

Bills vs Saints Tickets - Road Game Review

OK, so it's a little early to be looking ahead to the Bills vs Saints game on Sept. 27th. So sue me. But I find this contest both interesting and intimidating. Here why:

The New Orleans Saints have to get past the Eagles to meet Buffalo at 2-0. I think they will.

The Buffalo Bills lost to the Patriots on a fluke, playing at a much higher level than anyone gave them credit for. They play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week so they should be 1-1 before playing the Saints.

The Saints ticket to the playoff will be the play of their defense in 2009. Yes, the offense must perform at a high level, but that happened last season and the defense was so awful they didn't get in. So, the Saints defense, particularly the secondary, has to be tough. Which means they must find a way to stop T.O.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills will be looking to feed the ball to Owens, especially if they watched game tape of the Saints last season. It all boils down to: Can the New Orleans Saints stop T.O. by either heavy coverage or making Trent Edwards a human pinata?

Eagles vs Saints - McNabless?

It's all still up in the air but it looks like this Eagles vs Saint game will be McNabless. Philadelphia has signed Jeff Garcia but is saying that should McNabb not play, Kevin Kolb will get the nod. While I would have loved to see the Saints beat Philly in Philly at full strength, I can't say I'm too upset about not having McNabb in there.

Still, the experts are saying that even without Donovan McNabb, in any Saints Eagles game played on a neutral field, Philadelphia is a 1-point favorite over New Orleans. Hmmm. maybe so, I don't know. I believe some of that is a holdover from last season's final performance ratings. I will say this though, Jeff Garcia worries me. The guy has been a good NFL quarterback for many a year, and the Eagles might be better served to pull Kolb at the first sign of faltering.

Eagles vs Saints Tickets - Can't Wait?

Neither can I. Right now on Wednesday, this Eagles -Saints buildup is starting to get to me. So many questions. Can the Eagles start Donovan McNabb? Can the Saints keep the running game going? Can the Eagles stop the Saints offense? Can the Saints put enough pressure on McNabb or Kolb to stifle the Eagles offense? Will the Saints start Mike Bell or Pierre Thomas? Can Reggie Bush hold on to the ball? What's more, can Reggie Bush be effective as a runner?

Whoever wins this Eagle and Saints matchup is going to have an edge in the NFC. And since both the Eagles and the Saints have been picked for the post-season playoffs, this could decide a Wild Card or home field advantage if the end up tied. The countdown begins.

Saints at Eagles Tickets- Sept 20th - Lincoln Financial Field

The Saints and Eagles still have a lot to prove to the NFC. Both came away with wins in Week 1, with New Orleans topping Detroit and Philadelphia beating the Carolina Panthers. But both teams still have to provide some good answers for their perceived weaknesses.

The Philadelphia Eagles have to come up with a quarterback to replace Donovan McNabb. Out with a rib injury, McNabb will likely be replaced by Kevin Kolb. Michael Vick is still not avaliable so that's out and he's probably not ready yet even if he could play. Look for the Eagles to try and whop New Orleans with a heavy dose of Brian Westbrook and some imaginative play calling.

The New Orleans Saints seem to have no problem on offense. Drew Brees is clicking, and what's more, they may have a ground game to go with the passing game. Mike Bell rushed for 140 yards against the Lions, and looked tough doing it. Bell is listed as the 2nd string back, so Pierre Thomas, if he's healthy, could be in the lineup. But should Thomas falter, Bell looks readt to assume full time duties.

What the Saints need to correct against the Eagles is a shoddy performance on special teams and their secondary. Reggie Bush fumbled a punt return and was once again innefective as a runner. The Saints secondary gave up a 64-yard pass against the Lions, reminiscent of last saeson's weakness.

This Saints vs Eagles game should be a doozy. Though it's early in the season, neither team can afford to get too far back from the pack in it's division. New Orleans looks to be a shade healthier and in a better position on offense. But the Saints defense vs the Eagles offense may be missing Charles Grant, Will Smith, or both. Given a lackluster pass rush even Kevin Kolb can be effective.

Eagles vs Saints Tickets - Saints at Eagles - NFC Showdown

This Saints vs Eagles game will be a big stepping stone for the New Orleans Saints. Or for the Philadelphia Eagles if they win. The loser will have a big hurdle to overcome. Both teams are coming off NFC wins but both have problems based on the first week of NFL action.

The Saints took a 45-27 win over the Lions, a win in which the Saints showed some flaws. Three turnovers, all at opportune times, kept the Detroit Lions hanging around longer than they should have. As we saw last season, the Saints secondary may once again be prone to giving up the big play. For the Saints to overcome the Eagles in Philadelphia, things will have to be cleaned up considerably.

The Eagles had a field day with the Panthers. Once again, Jake Delhomme had an incredible five turnovers. What was bad for the Eagles was Donovan McNabb leaving the game with cracked ribs. That means Kevin Kolb may be suiting up next week.

So this Saints - Eagles game will be very important for a few reasons. The Saints need to clean up their act. The Eagles defense will be a lot tougher than Detroits, and you can't bank on Drew Brees throwing another 6 touchdowns. The Eagles will have to face the Saints defense with either an injured McNabb or backup Kevin Kolb. Either way, neither team wants to fall behind in their division, even if it is early in the season.

Lions vs Saints Sept 13th Superdome - No Brown, No Thomas but Plenty of Worries?

Heading into the Lions vs Saints game we find ourselves looking at a couple of mysteries. Or more than a couple really. Obviously Jammal Brown won't be playing which is a big minus for the Saints. His absence makes me very nervous. Protecting Drew Brees is the biggest challenge facing this team and Brown's absence makes that a huge undertaking. Hopefully, a running game can take some of the pressure off. Which brings us to our next worry, which is the absence of Pierre Thomas.

Thomas has not been practicing and reports are that his knee is ailing, compounded by a laceration said to come from a tussle with a fence. Skeptics are doubting this story and feeding speculation and rumor. I won't get into that but his lack of time on the field is another worry for Saints fans.

Other issues at the forefront of this Lions and Saints matchup are the problems with Will Smith and Charles Grant. The NFl needs to get off it's butt and make a decision. I hate the idea of pushing any possible suspensions back to later weeks when the meat of the toughest Saints schedule I've ever seen comes calling.

Lions vs Saints Sept 13th - Smith and Grant

From all indications it looks like the Saints Will Smith and Charles Grant will be playing against the Detroit Lions. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I'd certain;ly like to just get the whole suspension thing over with, if just for the sake of continuity. Also, will this just be for one week and then a decision comes down? Will we be kept hanging here? One thing is for certain, if I had to go into one game on the Saints schedule with a depleted defensive line, it would be against the Detroit Lions. So overall, unless the NFL drops the whole thing, which I doubt, I think not getting it over with is a detriment.

Lions vs Saints Tickets - Catch the Debut of Mark Stafford

Well, it seems this Lions and Saints game is going to be something special. The Detroit Lions have chosen Mark Stafford as their starting quarterback and he'll be under center when Detroit comes to the Superdome on Sept 13th. This thing could go either way. based on last seasons performance, the New Orleans Saints secondary could be a feeding ground for a talented young quarterback. On the other hand, if the Saints new defense, which has performed on a higher level since Gregg Williams took over, is what the fans and media seem to think it is, Stafford could be in for a rough trip.
I fully expect Williams to do his best to confuse the youngster, using multiple sets and bringing heat from all directions. Gregg Williams is known for his aggressive play calling and is sure to want to take advantage of inexperience. While Detroit's head coach Jim Schwartz has aid he thinks Duante Culpepper has performed well in the pre-season, Stafford got the nod. A number of factors probably played into this, including pressure from the fans, the desire for a new beginning in Detroit, and Staffords mega-salary.

Anyway, If you'd like to see the possible entrance of a new star into the NFL, then Lions vs Saints tickets could pan out to be just that. Or, you could possibly see a lamb being led to slaughter.

Eagles vs Saints Tickets - Another Look

Now that the rosters are settled down I though I would take another look at Eagles vs Saints tickets. It's become prett clear now that McNabb doesn't have any competion from Michael Vick. In fact, Vick won't be a prt of the Eagles and saints matchup. So that leaves a Dreww Brees and McNabb matchup.

The Saints Drew Brees appears to have the edge in weapons. Reggie Bush as a running back/receiver, Marques Colston as Mr. Reliable, Robert Meacham as the deep threat, and Jeremy Shockey as the bull in the china shop pass catching tight end, something this West Coast attack has lacked in the past. On top of that the Saints seem to have found two solid running backs in Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell, giving the Saints rushing attack the short yardage power it lacked last season.

The Eagles Donovan McNabb will once again be looking at Brian Westbrook as his primary back and pass catcher out of the backfield. westbrook has excelled when healthy but injuries may limit his availability. From there the Eagle also hope to get some production from rookie LeSean McCoy a 2nd Round pick out of Pittsburgh, who is very much in the Westbrook mold. In the passing game Philadelphia is banking on big things from DeSean Jackson, who had a fine rookie season and should be getting acclimated in the Eagl;es passing game. Jeremy Maclin, the Eagles 1st Round pick should play immediately and give the passing game some downfield punch.

These Saints at Eagles tickets will give fans a closeup look at two NFC teams carrying the weight of high expectations on their shoulders. Both have experienced and capable quarterbacks and both have exciting and dangerous runners. The offensive advantage probably falls to New Orleans with more explosive weapons. But the game is in Philadelphia and the crowd in Lincoln Financial Field won't be easy to deal with. Call it an even shot for either team to walk away a winner.

Lions at Saints - Sept 13th Superdome - Saints Tickets Blast Off With Lions

Lions vs Saints at the Superdome. It looks like New Orleans will get off to a quick start in the 2009 NFl season. The Detroit Lions are starting from square one. just hoping to get that first NFL win under their belts. As easy as this game looks, Saints ticket holders should be holding their breath. Nothing is as dangerous as an NFl team with nothing to lose and that fits the Lions to a tee.

Still, the oddsmakers have the Saints as heavy favorites and that's as it should be. Offensively, the New Orleans Saints should be tough to stop. Drew Brees is as good a quarterback as there is in the NFL. Reggie Bush is a dangerous if you can get him the ball in space, which Sean Payton will find a way to do. In 2009, it looks like the Saints may have some type of straight ahead running game to boot as Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell have come along nicely.

The real action will come on defense for the Saints in 2009. Everyone has been holding their breath, watching a Saints secondary that appears to be promising. More important to the New Orleans defense, and not as obvious, will be the ability of the Saints D-line to effectively stop the run and pressure the passer. With Will Smith and Charles Grant out for the first month, depth is going to a major issue and injury could be a disaster.

So what we'll see in the Superdome on Sunday is two teams fighting to move upwards. The New Orleans Saints are trying to rise to the status of an elite NFL team. The Detroit Lions are just trying to gain some respect and build a foundation for the future. For New Orleans, the issue could go either way. The Detroit Lions have nothing to lose, no further to fall, and that makes them a dangerous team.

Saints Tickets Get Real Now - Wait on Rosters Cuts

The Saints finished up their pre-season games pretty much as expected. The starters watched. On the field were players to evaluate. In my mind Ron Harper may have earned himself a spot with his return ability. Saints ticket holders might be watching a guy who can generate some good field position for the offense.

The running back position is wide open after three spots. Payton may decide to keep a lot of running backs due to thr frequency with which Bush gets hurt and because Thomas is not at full stregth either. Cut Hamilton, or Donaldson, and they may not make it back to the practice squad.

Wide receivers Roby and Green are too close too call and I haven't seen enough of Arrington to even guess.

There's been talk of cutting Harrington. While his last performance wasn't great, remember he was out there with backups. When he's had the starters to work with he did well. (Remember Houston)

We'll find out this weekend and then we'll get ready for Detroit Lions vs New Orleans Saints for real.

Saints Tickets Groundswell Building Up

Saints tickets are starting build a little buzz. Just a little. Football fans are a cautious bunch, and won't shell out dollars for doughnuts. Local fans have snapped up every Saints ticket available. But there are Saints tickets available on the secondary market through ticket brokers. I have a few I've worked for listed on this site and links for some I haven't had much experience with. Right now, Frontrow.com is my choice for Saints tickets when I can't get them from friends.

Anyway, I've been keeping an eye on the Saints tickets secondary market and since New Orleans has been very impressive in pre-season, the market for Saints tickets has taken a steady rise. I'm seeing fewer tickets available, and I've seen prices edging up. It's a combination of factors. The Saints success tallied with the sheer toughness of the Saints schedule. Fans want to see the Saints but they also want to see:

Giants vs Saints  - Eli Manning, hometown boy, against a major NFC rival.
Falcons vs Saints - Maybe the ultimate NFC South rivalry
Panthers vs Saints - A back and forth hate party, each team having ruined playoff dreams for the other.
Patriots vs Saints - Who wouldn't want to see how the Saints stack up against the Patriots?
Cowboys vs Saints - Dallas remembers the Prime Time whipping

And these are just home games in the Superdome. The road brings the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Redskins. A combination of rising belief in the organization, couled with a remarkable array of games, is making Saints tickets a rising star in the constellation of NFL tickets.
