Saints Tickets - Watching the NFC South

A quick look around the NFC South so New Orleans Saints fans can see what's coming. Namely, a complete domination of the division by the New Orleans Saints.

Saints vs Falcons - Naturally the Atlanta Falcons are facing the Saints in what could be a decisive Week 8 game. If the Saints win it essentially gives them a four game lead in the NFC South. A loss still leaves a one game cushion. But New Orleans has been playing well and the Atlanta Falcons have been struggling.

Cardinals vs Panthers - The Carolina Panthers are facing the Arizona Cardinals while they're riding high off a win over the New York Giants. Meanwhile the Panthers have doubts about their quarterback, running backs, offensive line, and defense. Good for the Saints.

Packers vs Buccaneers - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a bye in Week 8 but will host the Green Bay Packers in week 9. A probable loss but the Bucs could still rise up and bite someone. It almost has to happen.

Overall it's an important week for the New Orleans Saints. As most of you know the Saints will be starting a grueling round of divisional game, playing 6 NFC South matchups in the next 10 weeks. getting off to a good start is a must and the Falcons on Monday Night Football is a great way to do it.

Falcons vs Saints Tickets - Nov 2 - Superdome - The NFL Ticket of the Week

When I say that Falcons vs Saints tickets are the NFL ticket of the week I really mean that. There's plenty of other games but few have the appeal of this matchup. The New Orleans Saints are the sole remaining undefeated team in the NFC. The Saints have been beating opponents by double digit margins. And that includes topping a Miami Dolphins team that was ahead by three touchdowns in the second quarter.

The New Orleans Saints in 2009 have claimed victory in just about every way possible. Eother Drew Brees throws for mega-yards, or the offense cranks up the running game, or the defense rears up and scores on their own. yes, you read that right. The New Orleans Saints have a defense that Saints ticket holders can finally be proud of. this unit scored two touchdowns against the New York Jets, dominated the Giants, then forced three turnovers in Miami, including a touchdown return on an interception by Darren Sharper.

Now the Atlanta Falcons come to the Superdome on Monday Night football. If Giants vs Saints tickets were hot, then Falcons vs Saints tickets are blazing. The history of the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints has been one of mutual respect and intense rivalry. The saints being unbeaten means nothing to the Atlanta Falcons. They've been spoilers for New Orleans before and they're capable of doing it again.

But these Falcons vs Saints tickets mean more than that even. The saints are currently two games ahead of the Falcons at 4-2. A win by Atlanta keeps them within striking distance of the Saints. A loss puts them 3 games back and could possibly put an NFC South Championship out of reach for the Falcons, barring a total Saints collapse. With the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggling, the division race is down to two teams. Everything is on the line in this week's game and Falcons vs Saints tickets can't be had for love or money.

Dolphins vs Saints - Generating Some Interest

With our New Orleans Saints riding high on a 5-0 record and a big win over the New York Giants we're seeing some good articles out there about the team. Drew Brees of course, is drawing major amounts of attention. This week's USA Today Sports weekly features Brees on the cover. There's a good article about the personality of drew Brees, his work ethic, and his contributions to New Orleans recovery. Not to metion his dazzling performance on the field. Interestingly, Brees reveals that he was leaning toward the Miami Dolphins, but felt the New Orleans Saints really believed in him whereas the Dolphins were hesitant because of his injuries. Miami went with Culppepper and the rest is history. So is Culpepper.

Another good article I've found appears on the Miami dolphins fansite Phinsider breaking down three key matchups in this weeks Dolphins vs Saints game. The key, in my mind at least, is whether the Dolphins can handle the Saints passing attack. I doubt it. Another point is the Saints ability to stop the Dolphins rushing attack. While challenging, I think the Saints D is up to it and I also believe that Miami will be forced to throw at some point and Darren Sharper is going to pad his stats on Chad Henne. Anyway, it's a good read so check it out.

Falcons vs Saints Tickets Nov 2nd Superdome

The real Saints season starts with Falcons vs Saints tickets on Nov 2nd. Yes, the other games count also, but let's face it, winning within your division provides a double whammy for your most closely opposing teams. For the New Orleans Saints that starts with the Atlanta Falcons. Of huge importance is the fact that the Saints and Falcons, as of this writing, are separated by a mere one game. The Saints are undefeated but facing another undefeated team, the New York Giants, in Week 6 before facing the hot Miami Dolphins.

The Atlanta Falcons are looking at a matchup against the Chicago Bears then a road trip against the Dallas Cowboys. The Falcons have every chance of meeting the Saints at the Superdome with only one loss. The Bears are hurting on defense and let's face it, the Cowboys don't really scare anybody anymore.

Looking ahead by two weeks and seeing a Falcons vs Saints matchup, with a mere one game difference, is enough to make you realize this is a two horse race. Just as importantly, looking further ahead you realize that the Saints NFC South schedule lies entirely within the last 10 games of the season. Falcons vs Saints tickets represent only the start of a brutal stretch of crucial games that will test the Saints mettle more than it's ever been tested.

Saints @ Dolphins Oct 25th Landshark Stadium

It's probably a little early to be writing about Dolphins vs Saints tickets. The Saints have yet to play a hugely important game against the New York Giants, a battle of undefeated teams in the NFC. The Miami Dolphins are riding high after an impressive last seconds win against the New York Jets, the best football game I've seen during my stint in Korea. But my mind tends to leap ahead, and regardless of the outcome of Giants vs Saints I believe the Dolphins vs Saints matchup presents a hugely important stepping stone for the Saints.

Why? Because the Miami Dolphins seem to once again be jelling. More importantly the Saints defense is still a question mark on this team. I know they've put in nothing but solid performances so far this season, scoring 14 points against the Jets and leading the NFL in turnovers. But this Wildcat offense of the Miami Dolphins presents such a unique set of problems it's bound to test the best NFL defenses and the Saints have yet to prove to me that they are one of the best. Throw in the fact the Dolphins seem to have found a solid NFL quarterback in Chad Henne and you've got the makings of one heck of a football team.

I know there's been some talk about the Dolphins Wildcat offense as being "gimmicky" and my reply to that is "Is it legal?". The answer is "Yes, it is." That makes it legitimate in my book. The fact that Ryan and his talented defense couldn't deal with it only garners more respect from me. New Orleans will have to rise to the occasion more than once this season. This Dolphins vs saints matchup is just one of them.

Giants vs Saints Tickets - Tickets to Crucial NFC South Race

There's no doubt that these Giants vs Saints tickets for the upcoming game on Oct 18th in the superdome are some of the best NFL tickets you're likely to see at this point in the 2009 NFL season. From an NFC standpoint it's likely to carry some significance down the line when it comes time to determine playoff seedings. For the New Orleans Saints it's also a pretty crucial game in setting the pace in the NFC South. Consider the opposing NFC South teams games:

Bears vs Falcons - The Falcons are a mere 1 loss behind the Saints. They too, are playing an NFC opponent with a more than reasonable chance to make the playoffs. A win by Atlanta and loss by New Orleans would set up a crucial Falcons vs Saints game on Nov 2nd in the Superdome. A Saints win gives them a little cushion.

Panthers vs Buccaneers - Realistically, neither the Panthers nor the Buccaneers have shown themselves to be a playoff contender. It seems unlikely that Tampa bay will do it this season. But the Carolina Panthers were a double digit win team last season. they're just coming off their first win and should beat Tampa Bay. A hot streak, coupled with a loss or two by the Falcons or Saints, puts the Panthers right back in the hunt. That makes this Buccaneers vs Panthers game an important one if for no other reason than the Buccaneers could pretty well be finished for the season by that point.

Giants @ Saints Tickets - NFC's Game of the Week

If there's a bigger game than Giant @ Saints coming up in the NFC I don't know what it is. Right now the New Orleans Saints will enter the game 4-0. In all likelihood the New York Giants will be 5-0 with only an unchallenging Oakland Raiders standing between that record. As the number of undefeated teams in the NFl dwindles, a Giants-Saints matchup looms large on the horizon, with playoff seedings on the line.

The New Orleans Saints have been a surprise team so far in 2009. Not so much the undefeated record, but the way they've been winning. Most Saints fans would have expected Drew Brees to be leading the way, with an offense cranking out points. In games against the Bills and jets however, it's been the defense that has made the outstanding plays. So New Orleans has the look of a team that can beat you on both sides of the ball.

The New York Giants have been following a formula of winning with the NFl's best pass rush, coupled with a steady running game. If there's a surprise in the Giants game it's the production of a group of receivers that garnered their share of skepticism prior to the start of the regular season.

So as this Giants @ Saints battle gets closer, expect more and more attention to fall on the Superdome come Sunday. For New Orleans Saints fans welcoming home Eli Manning, nother would be better than emerging from this game with the Giants with a 5-0 record.

Buccaneers vs Saints Tickets Dec 27th at the Superdome

On Dec 27th, Buccaneers vs Saints tickets will give you the chance to catch the second round of this NFC South race. The New Orleans saints have taken an early lead in the division. The Tampa bay Buccaneers have been struggling. But don't expect the Bucs to roll over. they've spoiled many a Saints fans Sunday before and they could do it again in 2009. The oddsmakers point to a lot of factors but the one thing you can't discount is the tough rivalries that make up this division. The NFC South has been on a seesaw for the last decade, with no team winning back to back NFC South Championships. The Saints, Buccaneers, Falcons, and Panthers have swapped places so many times it's hard to keep up. And don't think the Bucs wouldn't love to be the spoiler on a Saints season. So pack up your gear and head for the Superdome on Dec 27th with Buccaneers vs Saints tickets and get ready for some real NFL action.

Panthers vs Saints Tickets - Jan 3rd - Another Great NFC South Battle

Panthers vs Saints tickets on Jan 3rd, 2010 will no doubt be another epic contest between these two heated rivals. I can't remember a Saints-Panthers game that hasn't come down to the wire in recent years. No matter what the records are, when these two team meet they come to play. Just last season the Panthers took advantage of a weak Saints defense to mount a game winning drive in the final minutes, sending the Saints home with a .500 record and a big what if question on the season. If you're ready for heated NFC South action, Panthers vs saints tickets for the regular season finale in Carolina will be hard to beat.
