Panthers vs Saints Tickets - Finishing Strong by Resting

Well the New Orleans Saints have stumbled their way to 13-2. Obviously this was not what we envisioned. After falling to the Dallas Cowboys in Prime Time, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked like an easy way to right the ship. But the Bucs didn't cooperate, topping the Saints in overtime.

Looking at the last few games the Saints are in trouble heading into the playoffs. Losses to Tampa Bay and Dallas, along with weak performances againts the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins, have exposed the weakness of the New Orleans Saints. If you can run the ball you can beat the Saints. If you can rush the passer you can slow down a sputtering Saints offense.

So what are the saints to do? In my opinion they need to get the defense healthy during the bye weeks by resting players. They need to get the offense clicking in practice but rest the injured starters. They also need to throw out the old playbook, evaluate tendencies, and let this Carolina Panthers game fall by the wayside if need be.

Cowboys vs Saints Tickets - All on the Line

New Orleans Saints tickets have delivered in 2009. They're about to deliver more. After running out to a 13-0 record, the Saints are about to bring the Dallas Cowboys into the Superdome in a Prime Time Saturday night game. Furthermore, the Cowboys are fighting for their playoff lives, undergoing their usual December swoon. With New Orleans putting their perfect record on the line and Dallas battling for survival, Cowboys vs Saints tickets are the real deal.

From the Saints perspective it can't be expected to be a walk in the park. New Orleans has been winning ugly. A desperate win against the Washington Redskins followed by a tough win over an injury depleted Atlanta Falcons has exposed a Saints defense fighting through its own plague of injuries. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys bring one of the stronger running games in the NFL and a stout run defense. Against that defense New Orleans will pit a #1 NFL offense and a bend but don't break defense that seems to have a knack for the big play. It's one of the biggest games of the year, in a national spotlight, and Cowboys vs Saints will definitely deliver the action.

Saints @ Falcons Tickets - Georgia Dome - Falcons Reeling Saints Stealing

Saints @ Falcons tickets could be a little bit of history. The New Orleans Saints are playing with a four leaf clover on their shoulders and could very well finish the 2009 NFL season at 16-0. Earlier in the season a Falcons vs Saints matchup turned into a slugfest as the Saints escaped with a win in the Superdome. At the time it seemed as if the Saints would have another tough contest in the Georgia Dome. But things have changed.

The Falcons have been bitten big time by the injury bug. Matt Ryan is out with a turf toes, Michael Turner is injured again, and nothing is going well for Atlanta. Now, as Falcons vs saints in the Georgia Dome looms, Atlanta fans look like they're turning on their Dirty Birds. Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles just plastered Atlanta and Falcons fans cheered him. Not good.

The New Orleans Saints, for their part, just pulled off an amazing win againts the Washington Redskins. Despite a battered Saints secondary, a weak Reggie Bush, and adverse weather, the Saints pushed the Redskins into overtime and sealed the deal on a field goal. Looking ahead, only the Dallas Cowboys look to have a legit shot at beating these Saints and I'm not even convinced the Cowboys are that good. So if you're looking for Saints tickets in the heart of the enemy, Falcons vs Saints tickets in the Georgia Dome sure look good to me.

Redskins vs Saints Tickets - NFC South Title Looms

At first glance it looks like Redskins vs Saints tickets are a pass to watching the New Orleans saints go 12-0 and clinch the NFC South. The Redskins have been less than impressive, embroiled in controversy, and have been one of the most generous teams in the NFL to their opponents.

But wait. Looking at Redskins vs Saints matchups over the past few years and you get a surprising fact. The Redskins have beaten the New Orleans Saints four out of the last six times, the most recent only last season. The Redskins are 15-7 against New Orleans in the last 22 games.

But it would be difficult to give the Washington Redskins even a fighting chance against the Saints unless you invoke the "any given day" rule. New Orleans is 11-0, and enjoying the acclaim of a 38-17 win over the New England Patriots. The Redskins on the other hand, are 3-8 and look like an unsettled team, with Jim Zorn facing down the loss of his job by seasons end. As expected, this Redskins vs Saints contest has New Orleans heavily favored and odds are the NFC South crown is theirs by games end.
