Dolphins at Saints Tickets – The Best Pre-season Game is Last

It’s almost too obvious that the Dolphins vs Saints game in the Superdome in the last week of pre-season should be the Saints best pre-season game. Though the schedule makers could care less, they’ve given New Orleans the toughest game last, which is as it should be. This is where the true reality of what the New Orleans Saints can be will be brought to light.

I expect the Saints and Dolphins to be running at full speed. For New Orleans it means unleashing Drew Brees and company on a formidable Dolphins defense that ranked in the Top Ten in 2008 in the most important category of all, opponents scoring. A stern test for this Saints offense is just the ticket. Even more importantly, the Saints defense will be facing a Dolphins team that can run the football and run it pretty well. Maybe key here is that the Miami running game allowed the Dolphins to finish in the Top Ten in passing yards per game, something a still unproven Saints defense will find to be quite a challenge.

As of right now we still have to get through the Saints visit to Oakland, but the Dolphins taking on the Saints in the Superdome is on the minds of Saints fans as the real challenge of the Saints pre-season.
