With our New Orleans Saints riding high on a 5-0 record and a big win over the New York Giants we’re seeing some good articles out there about the team. Drew Brees of course, is drawing major amounts of attention. This week’s USA Today Sports weekly features Brees on the cover. There’s a good article about the personality of drew Brees, his work ethic, and his contributions to New Orleans recovery. Not to metion his dazzling performance on the field. Interestingly, Brees reveals that he was leaning toward the Miami Dolphins, but felt the New Orleans Saints really believed in him whereas the Dolphins were hesitant because of his injuries. Miami went with Culppepper and the rest is history. So is Culpepper.
Another good article I’ve found appears on the Miami dolphins fansite Phinsider breaking down three key matchups in this weeks Dolphins vs Saints game. The key, in my mind at least, is whether the Dolphins can handle the Saints passing attack. I doubt it. Another point is the Saints ability to stop the Dolphins rushing attack. While challenging, I think the Saints D is up to it and I also believe that Miami will be forced to throw at some point and Darren Sharper is going to pad his stats on Chad Henne. Anyway, it’s a good read so check it out.
