Well, we’ve got one more Saints pre-season ticket left and it against the Dolphins. Not expecting to see Drew Brees much, or at all. I would like to see Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush. their absence is making me worry. But maybe I should have any qualms at all. The way this offense is churning out points, we may have enough depth and breadth to let them heal.
My Lions at Saints tickets are burning a hole in my pocket. It’s probably the only Saints game I’ll catch before a work related trip to Korea. I have mixed feeling about the Lions. I hope they give the Saints a good game, enough to lift their spirits, but naturally New Orleans needs to prevail in the end. One day, the Detroit Lions will break the losing streak. But it ain’t happening Sept 13 in the Superdome against the Saints. On a good note for the Lions, after watching the Raiders get whipped by the Black and Gold, Detroit may not be the only franchise with a goose egg in 16 games, Oakland was scarily bad and could easily duplicate the feat.
Remember, my bet is on Stafford starting this game. If the Detroit Lions put some talent around him in the next few seasons, he could be a good one. Or he could be a total buts with Pro Bowl roster around him. That’s what makes it interesting.
