From all indications it looks like the Saints Will Smith and Charles Grant will be playing against the Detroit Lions. I’m not sure if this is good or bad. I’d certain;ly like to just get the whole suspension thing over with, if just for the sake of continuity. Also, will this just be for one week and then a decision comes down? Will we be kept hanging here? One thing is for certain, if I had to go into one game on the Saints schedule with a depleted defensive line, it would be against the Detroit Lions. So overall, unless the NFL drops the whole thing, which I doubt, I think not getting it over with is a detriment.
