Chargers vs Saints tickets are coming to the Mercedes Benz Superdome. This contest between San Diego and New Orleans carries some back stories to it as San Diego has contributed mightily to the success of the New Orleans Saints. First of all, Saints ticket holders have to say a mighty big “THANK YOU” to the San Diego Chargers for letting go of Drew Brees. After a bad injury to his throwing shoulder the Chargers were faces with a choice between Drew Brees and Philip Rivers. Doubts about Brees’ ability to play made San Diego let him go and he ended up with the New Orleans Saints and a Super Bowl ring. Nice choice guys. That’s one factor Chargers Saints tickets bring to the table. Here’s another:
When the Saints pretty much made the decision to let go of Reggie Bush, there was a search for a versatile replacement within the Saints offense. It so happens that Drew Brees kind of hand picked Darren Sproles for the job. He was signed by New Orleans and went on to set an NFL record for combined yardage in the 2011 season. Another great decision by San Diego lending some storyline to Chargers vs Saints tickets.
Finally, there the overall performance of both teams. For years now the San Diego Chargers have been pegged as a talented team capable of winning the AFC and a Super Bowl. But they’ve never done it. Experts will come up with one reason after another but bottom line is that San Diego has always flopped in crucial games. In 2011 they flopped big time in the regular season. But I know why the Chargers won’t ever win a Super Bowl under their current regime and I’ve written about it before. Check out these past articles of mine:

As you can see, I’ve pretty much established the Chargers problem. Remember that when you’re enjoying your Chargers Saints tickets.
