It’s official. In 2012 Saints tickets will include Hall of Fame Games tickets as New Orleans has been tabbed to play the St. Louis Cardinals in the annual NFL kickoff game. The Saints will have the honor of not only taking the field but being there to see long time Saints offensive lineman Willie Roaf be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
The nice thing about this is that you kind of get a double bang for your buck. You get an additional chance to see the New Orleans Saints put together their 2012 roster and you get to see a Saints fan favorite reap his just reward.
The Hall of fame Game is on August 5th, 2012. It’s an additional game on the schedule so New Orleans will have the chance to get to camp a week early and have five weeks of pre-season. Whether that’s an advantage or not remains to be seen.
